What we can't help with
We're a website, not a lender, credit bureau, debt relief company or government agency. We can't see your credit report, change your score, or contact your creditors for you, and we don't give one-on-one advice.
Where to go instead:
- Your credit reports: get them free from all three bureaus at AnnualCreditReport.com.
- An error on your report: dispute it with the bureau that shows it. Our guide to disputing a collection walks through it.
- One-on-one help with debt: a nonprofit credit counselor, such as a member agency of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. A first session is often free.
- A complaint about a lender or debt collector: the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Not sure which way to go with your debt? The Debt Options Check shows which options fit your numbers.
